Zambia – Together for God in the Heart of Africa

“Wel­co­me to the real Afri­ca” – this is Zambia’s slo­gan. lmme­a­sura­ble expan­se, harsh wil­der­ness and impres­si­ve natu­ral beau­ty descri­be this Afri­can coun­try. The world famous Vic­to­ria Falls are Zambia’s num­ber one tou­rist attraction.
But worries and pro­blems defi­ne ever­y­day life for many peo­p­le in Zam­bia. Despi­te the country’s gre­at natu­ral resour­ces many peo­p­le live in pover­ty. Around one mil­li­on peo­p­le are infec­ted with HIV. Lar­ge sec­tions of the popu­la­ti­on live in fear of spi­rits and magic.

For the­se reasons Lie­ben­zell mis­sio­na­ries are rea­ching out to the peo­p­le of Zam­bia, tog­e­ther with natio­nal part­ners. This film tells of Alex Mab­im­bi, who was hoo­ked on drugs and today Ieads a church; of Dia­na Shak­wel­e­le, who has found a real home at the Ama­no School; and of Annie Muta­le, who is secu­re in God’s hand despi­te having AIDS.
