“Welcome to the real Africa” – this is Zambia’s slogan. lmmeasurable expanse, harsh wilderness and impressive natural beauty describe this African country. The world famous Victoria Falls are Zambia’s number one tourist attraction.
But worries and problems define everyday life for many people in Zambia. Despite the country’s great natural resources many people live in poverty. Around one million people are infected with HIV. Large sections of the population live in fear of spirits and magic.
For these reasons Liebenzell missionaries are reaching out to the people of Zambia, together with national partners. This film tells of Alex Mabimbi, who was hooked on drugs and today Ieads a church; of Diana Shakwelele, who has found a real home at the Amano School; and of Annie Mutale, who is secure in God’s hand despite having AIDS.
